We set out to become a specialist land developer, but as our knowledge of nurturing communities grew, we did too.

At Lighthouse Group, our vision has long been to deliver residential communities that are a cut above what’s offered in New Zealand’s evolving housing landscape. It all started with a five lot subdivision, but we’ve come a long way since 2012. Now we have ten development projects in the works, worth a completed value of $400 million, and more in the pipeline.

We set out to become a specialist land developer, but as our knowledge of nurturing communities grew, we did too. By cultivating our offering, we diversified into medium-density residential construction and purpose-driven funds management. We see what spaces could become and create them from start to finish.

It’s our mission to keep the community at the fore of what we produce – how they’ll live, play and thrive in the space for generations to come. Creating future-proof developments is what we do, and delivering consistent returns alongside better homes is the result.

“We have a responsibility to ensure our projects and homes enrich local communities, and that we go beyond just meeting expectations.”

– Edward Pendergast, Founding Director

Our Team

We’re motivated to deliver thriving projects with positive lifestyle and economic outcomes. We partner alongside, work with and employ dynamic locals that we know align with our commitment to residential spaces that go beyond what’s expected. Many of those we teamed up with at the start are still an integral part of the business today because their agility speaks volumes. Together, we create quality, affordable homes and lasting communities for the long run.

Meet the team below.
